$250K Cash EnergyTech Prizes by the Department of Energy
The U.S Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) has launched a college competition asking students to present energy solutions and products using DOE national laboratory-developed and other high-potential energy technologies.
Student teams compete for a total of $250,000 in cash prizes as they explore business opportunities for lab-developed or other high-potential energy technologies; assess commercialization opportunities through market analysis, and present a viable business plan to industry judges. Throughout the competition, they receive mentorship and materials to help them succeed.Energy TechUp.
Inland Empire Community Foundation
The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) has invited applications from non-profits who want to apply for grants of up to $20K. These grants are aimed at strengthening recipient NPO’s work that prioritizes equity, inclusion and diversity in the communities they serve.
Inland Empire Technology and Robotics Presentation
Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) and Garner Holt Education through Imagination organized a technology and robotics presentation at Garner Holt Education through Imagination in Redlands, CA.
The presentation took place on 16th Nov, 2021 in which Festo Didactic, a global leader in basic and further training in the manufacturing industry, showcased its training equipment, robotics machines, and programs.
Brent Cross uses Esri
Brent Cross, a park town for a healthy and future-oriented London, chose Esri Software called “Site Scan” to manage its spatial analysis, drone flights, and site imagery. The in-development park town is a joint venture between Argent Related and Barnet Council. This 180 acres site consists of 50 acres of parks and playing fields. Delivering 6,700 new homes and 3m sq ft of office space for 25,000 employees, the town will be a major new office destination.
Chaffey College InTech Center Wins a Two-Year $881K Contract
Chaffey College InTech Center at Cherry Ave, Fontana, CA, will provide workforce development training to companies in the Inland Empire to support job creation and retention. To financially support this program, California’s Employment Training Panel (ETP) will give $881K to Chaffey College’s InTech Center.
$160 Billion GDP of San Bernardino and Riverside, CA
The GDP of both Riverside and San Bernardino counties is just above $160 Billion. We know both counties heavily depend on logistics and warehousing operations and serve as two of the most preferred destinations for logistics, industrial leasing, and distribution operations for Walmart, Amazon, and other big retail giants.
