Governor Newsom Revises 2022-23 Budget: California Competes, Climate Innovation, and Small Business Relief in Spotlight Governor Newsom revised the state’s 2022-23 budget on May 13, 2022, which predicts revenues of roughly $55 billion more than his January budget proposal. Furthermore, economic growth is forecast to remain at a somewhat slower pace than predicted in the governor’s January budget plan. General Fund revenues are estimated to reach $219 billion in the fiscal year 2022-23.

The University of California Riverside To Offer Paid Data Analytics Program in Partnership with Tableau The University of California Riverside is providing its students with data analytics certification and career support in partnership with Tableau to help them grow and excel in their careers. The course costs just $196/month to make it accessible for every student.

Amazon Opened 15+ sites across Southern California in 2021: To add 2500 Jobs in the region Amazon has announced intentions to create more than 2,500 business and technology positions in California over the next few years. As it tries to recruit local talent and continue developing and innovating on behalf of its clients, the firm will extend its Tech Hubs in San Diego and the Los Angeles area, including Irvine and Santa Monica. These new investments come after Amazon launched more than 15 locations around Southern California in 2021, resulting in almost 17,000 employees statewide.

Inland Empire Health Plan Gives ‘Mission INSPIRE’ Award to Rancho Cucamonga-based SAC Health SAC Health is a recognized Level-3 Patient-Centered Medical Home and the largest specialty-based and teaching health center (THC) FQHC in the nation. It has won Inland Empire Health Plan’s (IEHP) Mission INSPIRE Award this month at the health plan’s second Annual Mission Conference.
