The philosophy served as the foundation for Stater Bros. when on August 17, 1936, Cleo and Leo Stater opened their first store in Yucaipa, California. Stater Bros. Markets Coming To Chino!

Stater Bros. Markets, one of the largest private employers in the Inland Empire, will be coming to the Town Center at the Preserve in Chino! Stater Bros. Markets, rooted in the American tradition, proudly celebrates a rich legacy of service to the Inland Empire!

Stater Bros. Markets will be opening a new store, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2023. 

The senior vice president, Ken Caron of Stater Bros, said: “The new store will bring much-needed convenience to the surrounding community where the population continues to grow.”

The 46,000 square-foot building that will anchor the retail center on the southeast corner could start construction this summer.

It will be the city of Chino’s first grocery store and its third Stater Bros. market, joining those at 4721 Riverside Drive (at Yorba Avenue) and 6989 Schaefer Avenue (at Euclid Avenue).

Hundreds of jobs will be created for Chino residents due to the new store, many of which will offer wages above minimum wage and health benefits. The store will provide a total of 150 positions.
