The Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF) has invited applications from non-profits who want to apply for grants of up to $20K. These grants are aimed at strengthening recipient NPO’s work that prioritizes equity, inclusion and diversity in the communities they serve.

Deadline and Technical Asssistance Workshop

The deadline for applying for this grant is by midnight on Jan. 17, 2022, through IECF’s online process. Nonprofits wanting to learn more about the granting process can attend a technical assistance workshop on Jan. 6, 2022.

The Inland Empire Community Foundation has a rich and long history of serving in the region. We profiled the IECF in a separate article.

Community Impact Fund (CIF)

These grants are given under the 2021 Community Impact Fund (CIF). The Community Impact Fund is a responsive, open, competitive application process with one annual deadline. The Fund invests in four areas: Arts & Culture, Basic Needs, Environment, and Youth Development. The Foundation considers funding for both general operating support and program support.

Riverside and San Bernardino County

To improve the transparency of grantmaking process, these grants administered by IECF will be given to NPOs operating in the Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

“IECF wants to learn about organizations’ vision of diversity, equity and inclusion and their diversity, equity and inclusion journey, at whatever stage of development it may be”.

Celia Cudiamat | Vice President, IECF
